Welcome to New Hampshire Outright, a non-profit dedicated to supporting, protecting, and advocating for LGBTQ+ youth across the state. We’re also a community where those young people and their allies can find strength, guidance, and hope. From our roots as Seacoast Outright, we’ve grown into a statewide movement committed to ensuring access to programs, groups and resources for LGBTQ+ young people. Learn More About Our History.

      My favorite event would be Alphabet Prom. I love seeing all the fabulous LGBTQ+ and allied youth dressed up and being part of an affirming space that celebrates who they are!

      My favorite Outright event is our annual Halloween Party, because I love to see everyone having fun with their costumes!

      My favorite program is the monthly Friday night activity group, which brings together both age groups for a shared creative experience. The act of creating together adds a sense of magic and expands what peer support can be.

      My favorite NHO event hands down is Portsmouth Pride. The parade and festival is a celebration of love, joy, and solidarity for everyone from all walks of life. It's what first brought me to this great organization and one of the many reasons they are stuck with me.

Coalition Manager

This is an exciting, two-year role, serving as the backbone of the LGBTQ+ coalition work in New Hampshire.

Our ideal candidate is an ambitious and dynamic leader and community builder. You ideally hold a strong understanding of how the NH State House works, and can hit the ground running. You are both a strong strategic thinker, and flexible enough to adapt when needed. You have a demonstrated ability to work with people of varying backgrounds and experiences to build consensus, strong facilitation skills, and a willingness to collaborate. Excellent communications skills, and ability to prioritize are a must.

LGBTQIA+ Youth Support Group Facilitator (Laconia Area)

Volunteer facilitators are critical to the success of New Hampshire Outright in helping us fulfill our important mission. We are currently re-envisioning our programming and how we staff our various groups, and to that end, are seeking people who are committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ youth.
