Pre-Parade History & Crafts.

In collaboration with the Portsmouth Historical Society

Kick off Portsmouth Pride at the John Paul Jones House! From 10AM-12PM, browse artifacts from our city's LGBTQ+ history, then join us on the lawn to make mini-flags and buttons to take with you to the parade. A relaxed, family-friendly space for all ages before the festivities begin.

PRIDE Parade.

The parade will gather downtown outside of 40 Pleasant St and go down State St before turning onto Atkinson St to arrive at Strawbery Banke! No sign up is required- both groups and individuals are invited to participate! The parade will start gathering around 12PM and step off at 12:35PM on Saturday, June 20th.

Pride Marketplace.

The Portsmouth Pride Marketplace at Strawbery Banke features 100+ vendors, including local artisans, nonprofits, and businesses.

The Portsmouth Pride Mainstage is back! Visit the stage to hear speeches and watch an array of exciting performances, musical acts, and more! This year’s lineup includes:

PRIDE After Party.

We're taking over The Hawthorn in the West End for a night of queer joy like no other. Your ticket includes your choice of cocktail, mocktail, or selection of wine, beer, and seltzer. Enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres and tables of gorgeous appetizers thoughtfully crafted by local caterer Sunday Supper. Doors open at 7PM.

Drag Brunch at The Music Hall Lounge.

Top off Portsmouth Pride and the 2026 Weekend of Love with Drag Brunch at The Music Hall Lounge. Now in its third year, Drag Brunch is a collaboration between Gather, NH Outright, and The Music Hall. Doors open Sunday morning for a buffet-style brunch with a cash bar. Tickets and more information on The Music Hall website.

Celebrate PRIDE All Month Long!

  • Join members of NH Outright and the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth as we meet for appetizers, beverages, and conversation to kick off PRIDE month. This event is from 5-7PM on June 2nd at Loaded Question Brewing Company. Register for free here!

  • Come out to The Wilder in Portsmouth on Wednesday, June 3rd for their monthly fundraiser night, Beats With Benefits. In honor of Pride month, proceeds will go to support NH Outright.

  • The Open Book Art Exhibition opens Friday, June 5th from 5–8 PM at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery in Portsmouth, NH. The show features artwork by LGBTQ+ youth from our after-school arts program supported by the NHAA. The exhibition is free and open to all.

  • Join us Saturday June 6th for a dedicated Youth Pride Party created just for LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 13-18 to celebrate community, creativity, and self-expression. Learn more here.

  • Join us for an enchanted evening of cocktails and light fare in the gardens and on the grounds of Sarah Orne Jewett House. Meet iconic Maine author and LGBTQ+ icon Sarah Orne Jewett; her partner, Annie Fields; and a few members of their inner circle. Enjoy lawn games and exploring the first floor of Sarah’s home as you listen to live music by the Crimson Fiddler. A partnership of Historic New England and NH Outright. Purchase tickets here.

  • Join us for a very special PRIDE Edition Queeraoke night at Auspicious Brew with Elle Kaplan and Lezhang Seacoast on Friday, June 12th from 8-11PM.

  • Race against the clock to complete jigsaw puzzles and help raise funds for New Hampshire Outright! Register to compete here.

  • Learn the hidden history of LGBT clubs, organizations, and people who impacted the Seacoast of NH with the Portsmouth Historical Society on June 20th and June 21st.

  • Join us Thursday, June 25th from 5:30-7:00 PM for an evening of community, connection, and good food at the Queer Family Picnic, a casual outdoor gathering for queer families and queer folks dreaming of building one.

Out & About

Out & About is our annual Pride Month fundraising program. Each June, local businesses run a fundraiser of their choosing, with a portion of proceeds supporting NH Outright's programs for LGBTQ+ youth.

  • Barre & Soul Portsmouth is offering a Barre & Soul Method class on June 21st at 10:30am for a suggested donation of $10, proceeds will go to NH Outright.

  • Friday June 12th from 6pm-9pm, Deadwick’s will host an after hours shopping and mixer event. The event will feature some on-theme merchandise while their queer cast and readers make maximum magic. 10% of sales during these hours will be donated to NH Outright! Deadwick’s will also have rainbow logo stickers for sale through the month of June; $1 from each sticker sold will be donated to NH Outright.

  • Enna Chocolate will be donating 5% of June sales to NH Outright.

  • Fezziwig's will be featuring monthly specials, from which 10% of sales will be donated to NH Outright.

  • Flamingos will donate 100% of profits from the sale of add-on Pride sprinkles for the entire month of June.

  • For the month of June, a portion of all Pride specials will be donated to NH Outright.

  • Walk-in tattoos on June 20th from 11am to 7pm, all proceeds go to NH Outright.

  • Gus & Ruby will be donating 10% of gross sales in their Portsmouth location June 20-21.

  • $1 for every bagel sold the week of June 15th.

  • $1 for every Pride rice crispy sold in the month of June.

  • June’s Cafe will donate a portion of the proceeds from all cruller bite sales for the week of June 8th.

  • Laney & Lu will donate a portion of proceeds from every Blissful Chakra Salad sold during June to NH Outright.

  • $1 for every Pride rice crispy sold in the month of June.

  • Lincourt Custom Creations will donate 15% of all sales in the month of June to NH Outright.

  • Celebrate Pride at Lizfit with a spin class on June 12th at 6PM. Funds raised during this class will go to NH Outright. The ride is free and open to all levels of experience, even if it’s your first time!  

  • In celebration of the founding of NH Outright, a portion of sales from Loaded Question’s Outrighteous Mosaic Pale Ale will go to support NH Outright.

  • Lovebirds Donuts will donate a portion of every Pride Party donut sold in June to NH Outright.

  • For the month of June, NH Flower Room will donate $15 for every Ruth design sold to NH Outright.

  • Visit Pickwick’s in the month of June and purchase a rainbow logo sticker. $1 from each sticker sold will be donated to NH Outright.

  • $1 per oyster sold on Tuesday, June 16th.

  • On Wednesday June 17th, Stella’s Cafe in Dover, NH will feature a special pastry in honor of PRIDE, with a portion of proceeds to benefit NH Outright.

  • Portsmouth Pride 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Strawbery Banke Museum on 14 Hancock Street in Portsmouth, NH. The festival runs approximately 1:00–5:00 PM. We encourage folks to walk in the parade (starting at 12:30PM), which will land at the festival grounds at 1PM.

  • Yes. Food trucks and other vendors will be on-site. A 21+ beer tent will also be available. Valid ID is required to purchase alcohol.

  • Parking at Strawbery Banke is not available, so please plan accordingly. There is limited street parking in the neighborhood, and the closest parking garages are the Hanover Street parking garage and Foundry Place garage. We strongly encourage carpooling or arriving early, as parking fills quickly during the event. 

  • The festival is held on the grounds of Strawbery Banke Museum, which is a largely flat, nearly 10-acre outdoor campus. The Visitors Center is ADA-compliant, and accessible restrooms are available. Some unpaved paths may be difficult to navigate depending on the type of mobility device used. 

  • Yes. ADA-compliant restrooms are available in the Visitors Center, and a wheelchair accessible porta potty will be available. On the east side of the campus, the historic Jefferson House has modern men’s and women’s restrooms, accessible by a two-step staircase and landing. Each has an extra-large stall with a private sink and changing table.

    Jefferson House also houses a single gender-inclusive ADA-compliant restroom with a changing table, accessible by ramp.
